An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a permanent Learning & Development Co-ordinator, working 30 to 37.5 hours per week. Flexible options are available to be considered. Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday 11th December.

Main duties of the job

The position will have the responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects. This post holder will report to the L&D Manager and will support the coordination of activities for the operational and clinical teams as well as the wider business.

The role will include supporting the organisation in ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning management systems, processes, and policies, supporting in the onboarding of new starters for training, training administration, scheduling and logistics of training events and budget tracking. The post holder will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries internally.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Coordinating accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities. Ensure attendance registers and evaluation forms are returned following each developmental activity and certificates issued. Ensuring all training records are efficiently stored in line with GDPR.

Contributing to the overall development offer by helping to identify learning and development needs within the organisation through analysis and performance management feedback.

Liaising with the L&D Manager, managers and delegates to ensure the smooth-running of training and that all colleagues are booked and prepared within agreed timeframes.

Ensuring that colleagues adhere to training procedures and advising colleagues on training policy where relevant.

Carrying out research as required into training providers, ensuring we build partnerships with high quality providers who share our values.

Coordinating regular training reviews in partnership with the L&D Manager to ensure that training is in line with Quality Assurance processes.

Ensuring Mastercall remains compliant, monitoring attendance and following up on instances of absences or illness.

Ensuring training resources are in place including arranging hospitality for colleagues if required, room layout and set up and equipment for colleagues attending workshops, printing and distributing relevant materials.

Supporting with learning management systems queries and escalating to appropriate persons as required.

Arrange external and internal bookings onto educational events. Liaising with training providers to ensure the smooth running of our organisational learning and development.

Working with the L&D Manager to develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure a best in class offer to Mastercall colleagues.

Coordinate an annual essential training calendar and ensuring full completion within agreed upon timescales, while engaging with colleagues to manage this.

Update and maintain spreadsheets, checklists and any allocated systems to monitor, manage and track workload progress of the L&D plan.

Respond to requests for training data/statistics management, prepare and issue management information reports for mandatory training.

Continuous Professional Development. The post holder will be expected to undertake ongoing personal, professional and management development in line with the responsibilities of the post. Responsible for developing and sustaining own knowledge, management, and skills (as appropriate) and professional awareness in accordance with CPD requirements and maintain a professional profile. Accountable for and maintain own competence to practice along with compliance of mandatory training.
