We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Infrastructure Engineer to join our innovative digital technology service.
Mastercall Healthcare’s Digital Technology Service provides support and management for the delivery of wrapped services to the organization enabling digital delivery, and wider services to external providers. We are viewed by many as a leading the curve in digital health solutions and collaborative partners, with an award-winning reputation for innovation.
The team’s function is responsible for the development and implementation of digital strategy to support Mastercall’s Healthcare’s short, medium, and long-term objectives, and the key driver is digital and innovation via our Digital Programme Board.

Main duties of the job
As Senior Digital Infrastructure Engineer you will provide key technical lead support to the virtual server estate, network infrastructure, security, and applications, while also provide some knowledge transfer to the existing DTS Team, ensuring the organisation is moving into cloud computing in safe, controlled, and sustainable manner.

- Infrastructure automation and associated technologies
- Cloud technology strategy/adoption
- Responsible for navigating across organisation infrastructure teams and structures, able to communicate with all levels from engineers to management
- Own delivery of the work assigned and drive to successful completion right from requirement gathering till defect resolving and quality product delivery into markets.
- Owning technical challenges, researching solutions, and implementing best practices across the digital healthcare, ensuring technical alignment with other regional and national programmes
- Implementing technical standards / governance across the engineering teams and promoting the use of tooling, Cloud environments and automated testing throughout the engineering life cycle
- Work within the team to drive the technical roadmap for all channels and service fulfilment
- Ensure appropriate highly available, scalable, and sustainable solutions are available to the organisation.

Extensive knowledge of data centre operations, telecommunications, cloud technologies, data centre applications, client/server computing, A deep understanding of the relationship between infrastructure, information security and the applications/services they enable as well as the crucial maintenance strong connections across IT.
Capable of communicating complex, technical topics to a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to interact with senior management and influence decision makers. - Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities, and to redirect the team toward new objectives, while ensuring that appropriate process and review of the wider impact of decisions are considered.
Demonstrated ability to apply new technology solutions to business problems.
The role holder will support the CIO, with monthly infrastructure reporting, and ensure appropriate use of the service desk for change management are factored into any decisions
