Locala Choose Well provides private health and wellness services offering comprehensive care and rehabilitation for adults with musculoskeletal physiotherapy needs. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team and be part of this exciting NEW SERVICE.

Locala Choose Well Provides high quality care to patients in a clinic setting, we are patient centred and holistic in our approach and work with patients to maximise their independence.

We require a motivated and dynamic person to work within this service, and it is essential that you are able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team where good communication skills and teamworking are essential qualities.

We are therefore seeking a dynamic MSK physio who is passionate about supporting and developing a new service, keen to work alongside partners to provide holistic clinical offer, including supporting innovative student placements.

About the Practice:

Locala Choose Well MSK Physiotherapy is a new service looking to build a reputation for high-quality, patient-centred care. The clinic offers a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal, post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, and chronic pain.

This is offered as an initial fixed term post at 22.5 hours, though as the service demands increase there may be the potential for the hours to increase and potential extension of this term, if desired.

About us

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide an excellent standard of evidence based and person-centred Physiotherapy care by establishing treatment plans, performing physiotherapy treatments, assessing and monitoring treatments plans in the clinic-based setting.
• Develop and review treatment programmes together with patients goals in mind, that encourage exercise and movement using a range of techniques.
• Expected to provide an appropriate mix of hands on, education and exercise-based treatment modalities, including acupuncture, soft tissue work, taping, electrotherapies, adhering as closely as possible to evidence based practice.

Requirement:

• Minimum 3 years experience including MSK & Orthopaedic
• Acupuncture Qualification
• Desirable Occupational Health experience
• Desirable experience working in private practice settings
