Main duties of the job
Research Manager
Band 8a (Indicative) - £53,755 - £60,504 pro rata
18.75 hours per week

The Research Manager role is key to Locala Health and Wellbeing's commitment to deliver the Research Strategy to shape the develop of the future direction of research across the communities we serve.
We are pleased to invite applications for this new role supporting the development of research capability and capacity within Locala.
This role will develop:
- A positive research culture and a workforce who are interested in research to improve outcomes for our communities.
- Ensure that everyone understands that research is part of all our jobs.
- Inspire a curious workforce who look to research and provide evidence to solve problems and improve things.
This will be achieved through:
- The Thrive Strategy which includes a research focus.
- The Locala Research Strategy 2024-2027
- Promoting the quality, quantity and breadth of research undertaken within Locala
- Influencing the national research agenda to better meet the needs of community services.
- Co-ordinating and developing the Locala research workforce across all services.
As the Locala ambassador for research and be the go-to expert for Locala colleagues and teams, it has huge scope for the right candidate to have a major impact on communities, develop innovative partnerships, and drive Locala's ambition to create better lives and be a hugely effective social enterprise.
