Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen for the post of Infection Prevention and Control Lead Nurse to join our progressive team at Locala Health & Wellbeing.
We are seeking a highly motivated, inspirational and dynamic individual who is experienced in Infection Control and Prevention (IPC) and who is passionate about providing high quality, exemplary care to all.
As the lead nurse you will have recognised qualifications as well as an awareness of clinical governance, quality assurance, clinical effectiveness and will be able to perform your duties in accordance with IPC standards and the appropriate frameworks.
You will have extensive experience and knowledge in IPC within a community health care setting and will work closely with the Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC) / Deputy DIPC to provide leadership and expert knowledge with respect to IPC across the organisation and commissioned service.
As an experienced leader and manager, you will demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability of working autonomously, making independent clinical judgements and decisions whilst prioritising competing demands.
