SAS Doctor in Sexual Health

Kirklees maximum of 8.5 sessions available (Minimum of 4)
Stockport & Tameside maximum of 4 sessions available
Main duties of the job
Locala run Sexual health services across West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to join our Kirklees and Stockport/Tameside teams on a 12-month fixed term contract with potential to extend or be made permanent.
The post holders will be responsible for the range of patients presenting to the integrated sexual health service with appropriate delegation and teamwork with supporting colleagues. Involvement in teaching, training and clinical governance will be expected. You will work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team of nurse practitioners, speciality doctors, and will be supported by Clinical Director for Sexual Health, Contraception Lead, Consultants in GU, Clinical Lead Nurses, Outreach Lead, Service Lead and Operational Manager.
The Stockport and Tameside sessions are for 4 sessions a week and clinics will mainly be in our hub in Stockport (The Choices Centre). There is a high demand for both contraception and sexual health appointments in this area. Flexibility would be ideal to support Tameside on occasions.
The Kirklees sessions will be based in both our clinical hubs, Princess Royal Huddersfield and Dewsbury Health Centre, there are 8.5 sessions available here, and we would like to recruit to a minimum of 4. Sessions will be across both locations.
