Main duties of the job
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, self-motivated pharmacy technician to join our supportive & friendly Medicines Support Team.
You will work alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other health care professionals to support and deliver effective medicines optimisation within intermediate care and the community. This includes providing care to patients within Locala bed bases and in their own homes.
You will reconcile medicines, undertake clinical medication review, provide advice on medicines usage, and deliver education and support to maximise patients independence with their medicines.
You will be a registered pharmacy technician who demonstrates an excellent knowledge and understanding of medicines optimisation, safety, legislation and best practice and be able to apply these in an intermediate care and community setting. You will have outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate with a range of colleagues and health care professionals.
