Health Care Assistant
Band 3: £22,816 - £24,336 pro rata
22.5 hours per week

Whitehouse Centre- Princess Royal Health Centre.
The Whitehouse Centre is a specialist GP practice which primarily delivers care to Asylum Seekers, Homeless, Sex Workers and patients experiencing issues with substance misuse in the Huddersfield area where we achieved Outstanding in our last CQC inspection.
Main duties of the job
We require a highly motivated and proactive Healthcare Assistant to join us in the service. As a HCA you will deliver a professional and patient-focused service, working alongside and under the leadership and supervision of your clinical colleagues in our dynamic and fast-paced surgery. As an integral part of our clinical support team, your skills as a HCA help us to deliver on our vision to make healthcare better.
The services are currently delivered 5 days a week Monday to Friday 08.00hr to18.00hrs and some evening or Saturday morning working may be required in line with the local primary care network and organisational requirements.
This opportunity would suit those individuals who demonstrate the capability and commitment to support the clinical team in their care and treatment of patients.
The post holder must deliver exceptional clinical care to their patients with clinical effectiveness at the forefront. They should be computer competent, able to interact well with patients and their carers.
We are looking for a team member with a forward-thinking outlook to embrace the technology and push forwards with service improvement to improve patient care.
Our key values include improving services through re-design and leading-edge technology with the partnerships of users. They will be required to work autonomously in supporting the clinical team with decision making and planning of care and treatment, health promotion and safety of patients.
About us
The workload is challenging but extremely rewarding. Previous experience of primary care and knowledge of Systmone is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
