Main duties of the job
Are you looking for an opportunity to work in Sexual Health?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, enthusiastic, and committed team. The team covers both Kirklees (Dewsbury and Huddersfield) and Bradford providing a wide range of Integrated Sexual Health, including GUM, Contraception and Specialist Services.
The post will initially be based in our Bradford hub, but there will be an expectation of working across all our locations. The service runs 6 days a week, 8am- 8pm throughout the week and 9am-1pm on a Saturday.
We require candidates who will contribute to the overall improvement of the health and wellbeing of our clients by delivering care through a client centered approach and be passionate about improving the quality of care for clients. You will be integral to the development of Localas Sexual Health Service as we continue to progress towards integrated Sexual Health Services across our commissioned localities.
The post holders will work in collaboration with the clinical team to deliver high quality, non- judgmental care to those who access our service. You will be innovative and ambitious, and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to work efficiently and productively to make a positive impact on client outcomes.
The Sexual Health Service uses SystmOne clinical system and the latest electronic reporting systems. We are a trail blazer for the utilization of digital technology in health care.
