This advert is being posted by Hartlepool & Stockton Health on behalf of one of our member practices, Tennant St Medical. This exciting opportunity is for a General Practitioner to provide 16 hours per week of clinical support. They will work as part of a team to ensure it's aims an objectives are met within a safe, efficient and harmonious and profitable working environment. Whilst also providing high quality health care to all patients registered at the practice.
Main duties of the job
In
accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make
themselves
available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery
consultations,
telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home,
checking and
signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork
and
correspondence in a timely fashion.
Making
professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems,
whether
self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the
organisation.
Assessing
the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and
undiagnosed
problems
In

share of clinical administration, including tasks, bloods, and other general
duties
Complete
medical reports as and when required
Collecting
data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements
Delivering
enhanced services
Provide
support to the clinical team including being available to the wider practice
team when required
Awareness
of and compliance with all relevant Practice policies/guidelines, e.g.
prescribing, confidentiality, data protection and health and safety
Other
duties as may be reasonably required from time to time
