Job summary

As we embark on an exciting new chapter in our history, we are seeking a proactive, experienced Executive Assistant to support our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) whilst driving effective governance processes. In addition to providing hands-on PA support, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our governance procedures by offering guidance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for candidates with significant experience in a PA or Executive Assistant role. You will also have project administration experience, a background in governance frameworks, excellent MS Office skills, exceptional organisational skills and be a proactive team player.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support to the Chief Executive (CEO) to ensure the effective development, execution and evaluation of strategic priorities and projects.

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience or professional qualification.

Desirable

  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Experience

  • Experience of being an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant (PA).
  • Significant project admin experience
  • Background in working under governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in maintaining regulatory registers and ensuring compliance.
  • Experience of developing strong relationships and understanding responsibilities of senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Experience of working autonomously, taking responsibility for own actions and making decisions without referring to others.
  • Experience of drafting documentation e.g. committee papers, presentations and basic policy content, exercising judgement and utilising strong written communication skills.

  • Experience of working in the charitable or public sector
  • Proficiency in aligning policies with governance standards and timelines
