Main duties of the job

In this role, you will coordinate the care of individuals with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), ensuring that both their needs and those of their families are met through effective collaboration with various stakeholder groups.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 - £38,682 - £46,580 pro rata per annum + enhancements

Hours: 22.5 hours per week Part Time

Contract Type: 2 Years Fixed Term

Based: Bradford Hospice

Closing date: 10th October 2025

In this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the care of people with MND, ensuring that their needs and those of their families are met through effective partnership working across various stakeholder groups.

As an autonomous practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work independently and influence care practices across the area. You will lead the MND Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and manage outpatient clinics to deliver timely and efficient services. This position is designed to complement the existing hospital and community services that support people with MND.

What were looking for:

  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with substantial experience of Neurological conditions
  • Experience of working in a specialist or autonomous role within Specialist palliative care, community, or neurology setting
  • Experience of managing your own caseload of patients
  • Experience in working across care boundaries and with multi-professionals
  • Understanding of complex needs of patients with Motor Neurone Disease
  • Good understanding of providing care in a community setting.
  • UK licensed driver with access to your own vehicle
