This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join the Marie Curie team in Bradford in our Early Identification service. By sharing your nursing and palliative care expertise, you will have the chance to significantly influence and shape patient care in Bradford.
Main duties of the job
With experience of palliative care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. You will work in close collaboration and under the line management of the senior nurses in the service to provide direct support to patients and their families who are newly identified as having a palliative diagnosis. The role will include making first contact, arranging follow up and offering signposting to support services and advance care planning discussions so excellent communication skills are a must
