Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 (£35,392 - £42,618 per annum)
Hours/Contract: 2 x 7.5 hours per week 6 months fixed term
Based: Liverpool Hospice

This is an exciting new role to provide a flexible NICE Level 3 bereavement counselling service to patients and their families and carers as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering the Marie Curie Liverpool Bereavement Information and Support Service (BISS)

What we are looking for:
- A Diploma in Counselling and / or BACP accreditation
- Significant post-qualification experience in counselling or equivalent
- Experience of working within a context pre and post bereavement and loss
- An ability to provide Level 3 Counselling on an individual, family and group basis as well as virtually or by telephone across Liverpool
- Experience of supervising clinical practice
- A willingness to travel throughout Liverpool as necessary
- A current valid licence allowing you to drive in the UK and access to your own vehicle
The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist counselling to patients, carers, children and significant others using individual, group and family techniques as appropriate, both on the ward and in Wellbeing Services at our Hospice in Liverpool
