Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated physiotherapist to work for a leading charity helping to support people living with a wide range of palliative care conditions and at end of life.

Main duties of the job

You will be working as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team providing holistic palliative care. You will be providing a high standard physiotherapy service to in-patients, outpatients and community patients with specialist palliative care needs.

Hours:Full time37.5 hours per week

Based: West Midland Hospice, Solihull

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy with post qualification experience in the following areas: Rehabilitation, Respiratory Care, medical, surgical and musculoskeletal
  • Registration with relevant recognised body, e.g. HCPC
  • Reliable and forward thinking with excellent communication skills.
  • Full driving licence allowing you to drive in the UK.

This is a rare and sought-after post that will give the individual an opportunity to experience first-hand physiotherapy outside of the boundaries of the NHS, working in a truly person-centred care approach both in the community and within the hospice setting. As a hospice we promote equality of access to our services and aim to promote quality of life for people living with a terminal illness and those supporting them.
