We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Hub Coordinator (Volunteering) to join our Marie Curie team in Tiverton Office.

This is a key role as part of our volunteering Support Team. The post holder will act as first point of contact for all Marie Curie Services across a geographical area form the local coordination hub.

Title:Hub Coordinator (Volunteering)

Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, alignedwithAFC BAND 2 £22,383per annum pro rata plus enhancements.

Hours/Contract:Permanent Full Time 37.5hours per week

This is a key role as part of our volunteering Support Team. The post holder will act as first point of contact for all Marie Curie Services across a geographical area form the local coordination hub.

You will lead and support the referral process, coordination and booking of support as required, ensuring data and information is accurately inputted into the operational and clinical systems.

You will work alongside the Senior Coordinator in order to ensure the smooth running of the coordination hub. You will also work alongside and liaise with clinical support & management staff as well as, volunteers, referrers, local CHC teams, patients, families and carers. This requires a high level of diplomacy, excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately and under pressure.

Day to day you will work as a key member of our volunteering hub team ensuring our services needs are met. You will be responsible for liaising directly with Health Care professionals, volunteers, families and relatives. You will be compassionate and have a kind and caring nature. Its important that you work closely with the service managers in supporting our Bereavement Telephone Service, Companion Service and Advance care planning service. You will also ensure all our systems are kept up to date with the most accurate information, helping us keep volunteers and staff safe, well supported and enable us to fulfil our service requirements.
