Salary: 17,669 - 19,632 per annum
Hours/Contract: Full Time, 35 hours per week (offering 2 different shift patterns)

We are seeking a Chef to join our amazing team at our Liverpool Hospice!
As the Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in preparing nourishing, well-balanced meals at a consistently high standard to our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers whilst maintaining a high level of food hygiene.
This is a hands-on role, where you will be required to demonstrate strong practical, imaginative and creative cooking skills. You will be well organised, flexible and pro-active in your approach to work. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also a must, together with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. You will have fantastic interpersonal skills together with exceptional levels of integrity and self-awareness.
You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef with the adequate supervision if the Catering Assistants.
This role covers the whole range of the catering service, including the patient food service, functions and buffets.

What we are looking for:
- City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent or NVQ level 2 Basic Food Hygiene
- High levels of Health and Safety awareness
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to develop and plan menus
- Relevant catering and supervisory experience
