We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to deliver
high-quality, holistic palliative care as part of our multidisciplinary
inpatient unit team, supporting both patients and their families.
Join our inpatient unit team to play a key role in delivering
compassionate, expert care to patients and their loved ones.
Please note: we are not part of the NHS and therefore we do not hold a licence to enable visa sponsorship.
*FULL TIME CONTRACT - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK*
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for providing inspirational
and motivational clinical leadership as a senior staff nurse to a team on the
inpatient unit with the aim of delivering a high standard of specialist, patient-centred
palliative nursing care.
In this role you will work in conjunction with the
Ward Manager/Deputy Ward Managers, and the multi-disciplinary team and other
Mountbatten teams, providing support to patients and their carers. You will
work closely with clinical colleagues to establish and maintain high quality
clinical care across all care settings, providing consistent and effective
communication with the team throughout your shift and during handover.
As a
Senior Staff Nurse you will also act as a role model, providing training, supervision
and support to staff, volunteers and students and acting as an ambassador with
external supporters and other key partners.
