Job summary
As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will have responsibility for driving the finance agenda both strategically and operationally. You will play a significant role in helping us achieve our organisational goals and ambitions across the Isle of Wight and Hampshire and you will provide leadership to ensure the finance team deliver a high quality, proactive and responsive service.
Main duties of the job
You will take responsibility for overseeing all the financial aspects of Mountbatten financial strategy and overall responsibility for the financial and accounting functions including financial planning, ensuring the flow of timely and accurate financial information to the Chief Executive, the Board of Trustees, Senior Management Team and where necessary external parties.
You will lead, direct, and manage the work of the Finance teams across the organisation, with overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems. Ensuring that regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met, whilst working collaboratively with executive colleagues to ensure that the organisation runs smoothly, efficiently, and economically in a way which meets all regulatory requirements placed on the organisation.
