We are looking for an enthusiastic
person with a desire to build relationships with supporters of the hospice,
delivering outstanding supporter care to promote long-term giving and
fundraising.
You will have a passion for making
a difference and be someone who enjoys working as part of a committed and driven

Hours:Part time 30 hours per week - to be worked flexibly in accordance
with the needs of the service which may include weekends, bank
holidays and evenings to support events
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work
with the Supporter Lead to coordinate our individual giving activity to
maximise income, by acquiring new supporters and developing relationships,
which is a key element of this role.
They will coordinate fundraising
appeals and promotions of known income streams and deliver aspects of the
supporter strategy and programme with high quality care and attention.
You will need to be able to build
and maintain relationships with the fundraising team, and Mountbattens
supporters. You will have a personable, kind approach to your interactions and
have the ability to work with people from all walks of life.
This role requires someone who has
a good standard of general education (to GCSE level or equivalent) and strong
IT skills, including all Microsoft applications.

Key Tasks

To meet with supporters and where appropriate
discuss different ways they can support Mountbatten further.
To maintain accurate supporter records including
communications on the supporter database, to ensure a high level of supporter
journey.
Internally:
Assist in delivering a schedule of planned fundraising
and engagement activities representing Mountbatten and delivering excellent
supporter care.
Follow supporter engagement plans in order to
maximise life-time value and support to Mountbatten.
Foster good working relationships across the
departments to ensure key fundraising messages are communicated and campaign
support is available when required.
Externally:
Represent Mountbatten at networking events either in
person or online.
Work with agencies and suppliers to deliver campaigns.
Including creative agencies, printers, fulfilment houses, and promotional publications/organisations.
Promote in memory giving through a number of avenues
including building strong working relationships with local funeral directors.

Keeping up to date with all mandatory training
requirements.
To
complete all Raisers Edge CRM training requirements.
