Clinical Education and Training Lead

Job summary

Pilgrims Hospices has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Education and Training Lead to join our team, to review, plan and implement training and education to ensure that as an organisation we are providing up-to-date, high standards of patient care. As a provider at the forefront of End of Life Care in East Kent, Pilgrims Hospices offers specialist training and development both internally and to external partners and the successful applicant will therefore have the opportunity to influence and improve practice across the local healthcare environment.

Main duties of the job

As the Clinical Education and Training Lead, your main responsibilities and duties will include:

• The design, development and delivery of training programmes internally and externally.
• Supporting high-quality patient care through the provision of evidence-based training.
• Supporting and mentoring other staff in the delivery of training.
• Liaising with external partners to ensure education and training programmes meet key local needs.

The post holder must ensure that services are provided to a high standard, in line with mandatory and best practice guidelines.
