We are seeking well-motivated and forward-thinking professionals to join our team, in supporting the development and growth of our hospices across east Kent.

Main duties of the job

The Retail Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out maintenance duties to support the smooth running of the Pilgrims Hospices Retail team:

  • Regular inspection of sites and maintenance and repairs as required
  • Repairs as detailed under current maintenance system
  • Maintenance and repair of shop equipment, where appropriate.
  • Liaison and building relationships with contractors
  • Maintain accurate records in relation to maintenance carried out either on an ad hoc basis or for planned preventative maintenance

  • Experience of working in a facilities maintenance role or extensive DIY experience

Desirable

  • Experience of working for a healthcare or charitable organisation
