The Rowans Hospice Charity is an independent organisation offering specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting disease, located in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

As a Charity, we offer opportunities for palliative support to patients and their families over an extensive range of in-patient and out-patient services; we pride ourselves on our excellent care for patients, their families, our staff and volunteers. We currently have an opportunity available for a Health Care Support Worker to join our In-Patient Unit team at Rowans Hospice Charity.

Role profile:

The successful applicant will hold NVQ 3 or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate experience within a Palliative Care environment.

You will be required to work four 7.5 hr shifts per week,or five 12.5 hr shift over two weeks.

The role offers a competitive salary, and in addition you will receive enhancements for working weekend, evening and bank holiday shifts.

Qualifications

Essential

• The successful applicant will hold NVQ 3 or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate experience within a Palliative Care environment.
