Job summary
To provide an effective
and efficient administrative and clerical service to the Quay Healthcare Adult Right to Choose (R2C) ADHD Team. They will be expected to work flexibly within the ADHD services
administrative team and contribute to and (in time) lead on the smooth
functioning of the systems underpinning service delivery.
The postholder will be
required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be able to work
without direct supervision and exercise initiative. An ability to multi-task is
essential.
The postholder needs to
be experienced with TPP SystmOne.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder must play
a proactive role receiving, managing, and recording patient demographic and
treatment data. The post-holder must undertake effective forward planning, to
ensure that the administrative needs of the service are met and must carry out
a range of effective administration processes to support the delivery of high
quality patient care.
Arrange, book and
manage patient follow-up appointments
Analyse patient
pathways vs outcomes and escalate to relevant clinical / non-clinical
staff
Ensure all patient
information is complete and up to date on the clinical system, proactively
asking patients for information where this is missing or incorrect
Identify,
investigate and correct system discrepancies ensuring GP and personal
contact details are accurate and up to date
Follow the
appropriate processes for prescription requests, expedite requests, and
clinical letters received into the service
Use your written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with
patients, their carers, relatives, visitors and staff
Be a calm,
supportive, flexible and adaptable member of the team
Deal with all
enquiries in a professional , respectful and co-operative manner
Redirect queries to
the appropriate person, using existing and available information and your
own initiative
Provide
non-clinical advice and guidance in line with service policy, with the
support of managerial and clinical staff

Quay Primary Healthcare CIC are a primary care support
organisation for four of the GP PCNs within Warrington. Our mission is to deliver better clinical
outcomes and accessible treatment for the people of Warrington.

We are also provide a growing and progressive Adult ADHD
Service based entirely within primary care. We are a remote service who serves
the Warrington population and recently Cheshire & Merseyside and Hereford
& Worcester patients via Right to Choose options.

information, exercising independent judgement and discretion when handling,
monitoring and filtering information within data protection, customer care and

To co-ordinate and oversee bookings on clinical

deadlines are met.
To deal with a range of queries from patients,
General Practice and other agencies in a polite and helpful manner, seeking
advice and guidance from the Service Manager and wider team as and when
required.
To type correspondence including letters and
reports when required.
To maintain office filing systems and ensure
information is accessible to relevant staff, ensuring confidentiality at all
times.
