Job summary
We are looking to appoint a talented and experienced Practice Educator to join our Learning & Development team supporting the professional development of clinical staff, including the inpatient and community teams with some crossover of people and interpersonal skills being developed and delivered to our non-clinical colleagues.
You will support the delivery of multi-disciplinary programmes, delivering exceptional service by developing, implementing and evaluating educational and developmental activities.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of the role is to deliver education, training and development programmes for clinical, non-clinical staff and volunteers at Thames Hospice, and to health and social care professionals working within the Thames Hospice locality, to support and enable the delivery of high quality and evidence-based palliative and end of life care.

Thames Hospice is an independent adult hospice with a beautiful 28 bed hospice at Bray Lake in Maidenhead with views of the lake and state of the art facilities.
Our services are available free of charge to adults who have a serious illness from which they are not expected to recover. We care for patients from the age of 16 at our Hospice on Windsor Road, Maidenhead, and in people's homes.We offer compassionate palliative and end-of-life care, as well as wellbeing and emotional support to help you and those closest to you during this difficult time.
