Job summary

Working together with National Mind (and with other partners) to ensure people have access to a high-quality mental health service.

We support staff wellness through providing support and supervision, protected time for training, shadowing and peer learning opportunities as well as a great employee assist programme. Main duties of the job
Role PurposeYou will...
- Work with people to overcome early signs of mental health distress such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, feeling alone, managing emotions, menopause and grief & loss
- Follow a set programme in providing graded exposure via a facilitated self-help model, including referring people to appropriate support
- Establish positive client engagement and learning
- Personalise the delivery of the programme to meet individual needs
- Promote the concepts of social inclusion, early intervention and recovery
Main Duties
- Provide weekly calls to clients, offering support, guidance and resources
- Ensure that clients' details, wellbeing outcomes and case notes are accurately recorded on the data management system
- Manage all administrative processes accurately and efficiently including the use of the digital platform used for this programme
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key partner agencies including the programme delivery team from National Mind. This might include attending meetings and events to develop networks and collaborative working
- Participate in clinical supervision, line management support, peer support sessions and team meetings with the relevant manager(s)
- Use case studies and other evidence to provide feedback from the service on the client's experience
- Display the ethos, values and culture that Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind have established. Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
- Be an advocate for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind
