Job summary

The successful candidate will be required to support and enhance the professional psychological and neuro-psychological care of residents within Castel Froma Neuro Care. To provide a specialist clinical service to individuals with neurological conditions and their families, as well as senior support within the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within in the service/team and within the overall framework of CFNC policies and procedures. To advise on complex clinical decision making. To use knowledge and experience to support with implementing ACP-UK plans; cognitive rehabilitation programmes and targeted psychological intervention.

About us

Castel Froma Neuro Care runs two care centre sites, Lillington House & Helen Ley for those with neurological conditions and brain injury.

We provide 24 hour nursing care as well as therapies, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language, psychology and dietetics.

Staff at CFNC work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). This involves bringing together professionals of different backgrounds to work as a team in devising and implementing care packages to meet the individual needs and requirements of each resident.
