Harrow Health is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Systems Manager to lead the
development, implementation, and operational support of digital systems across our network of
healthcare practices.
This critical role ensures that IT infrastructure and digital tools operate
securely, efficiently, and in alignment with clinical and business needs.
The IT Systems Manager will oversee the maintenance and performance of multiple clinical and
corporate systems, drive system integration projects, ensure compliance with NHS digital
standards, and deliver high-quality support services to end-users.
The role will also lead and
mentor a small team, supporting data-driven service delivery through high-quality reporting and
analytics.
Main duties of the job
System Administration & Technical Oversight
Maintain and optimise the performance of core systems including:
EMIS Web / EPS
SystmOne (TPP)
AccuRx
e-RS, PACS, ICE
Microsoft 365 & SharePoint
Envisage, Heidi AI, and smart card access
Ensure system configurations and user access controls are up to date and auditable.
Manage relationships with system vendors, hosting providers, and telephony suppliers.
Team Leadership & Support
Lead, develop, and support a team of IT Technicians and Business Analysts.
Oversee IT support functions ensuring efficient resolution of service tickets and proactive
maintenance.
Build capacity in reporting and analytics through effective team collaboration.
Data Management & Reporting
Oversee production of high-quality performance reports, dashboards, and data extracts for
Business and quality performance (external)
Operational and KPI reporting (internal)
NHS returns (SUS, MHMDS, ePACT)
Collaborating with service leads to ensure data is used effectively for continuous
improvement.
Governance, Security, and Compliance
Ensure compliance with NHS Digital, Data Security & Protection Toolkit, and IG requirements.
Manage data integrity, system backups, disaster recovery planning, and cyber security
measures.
Conduct regular audits and system health checks
