Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Corporate and Trusts Fundraising team for the fixed term position of Corporate Fundraiser. Your financial targets will help patients and their families living with complex and incurable conditions, by enabling Compton Care, a well-loved local charity to deliver much needed medical, social and emotional services.

Main duties of the job

You will be an experienced Corporate Fundraiser or have an background in sales and account management. We have a strong portfolio of existing Corporates we work with, and through being a confident communicator and networker, you will successfully grow this pipeline by strengthening relationships with existing supporters and creating leads for new partnerships.

We support families to navigate every aspect of life with an incurable condition, including: the physical helping patients deal with the physical changes brought about by their illness helping with symptom control and pain management. the practical supporting families to manage practical aspects including as finances, housing, legal matters and making future care plans. the emotional & spiritual providing a safe space for families to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions throughout the duration of a persons illness and after death. Care is tailored to each person and focuses on providing families with the tools, encouragement and support they need to live a good quality life.
