About us
Leckhampton Court is a Sue Ryder Hospice and is the only specialist palliative care unit in Gloucestershire. We support patients with life-limiting conditions to live the fullest life they can in both the inpatient unit, in their own homes and in our innovative Community Hub.
Main duties of the job
The Community Hub
The Community Hub at Leckhampton Court Hospice offers day services to adults with a life limiting diagnosis. We support patients, their carers and loved ones, with a focus on wellbeing, quality of life and rehabilitation.
We offer a growing range of programmes and group sessions, as well as individual appointments in our outpatient clinics.
We work as a multidisciplinary team of palliative care specialists, with the patient's needs at the centre of everything we do.
The Therapies Team lead programmes such as fatigue and breathlessness management and exercise groups.
We will be launching a living well programme in early spring. Volunteers also offer social groups and creative arts.

Aromatherapy
Reflexology
Acupuncture
Hypnotherapy
Reiki
Relaxation and visualisation
Qualifications:
A recognised accredited qualification relevant to your therapy, for example ITEC, VTEC, university diploma.
Registered with a relevant professional body and fully insured.
CNHC registration is desirable.
Experience of working with patients with complex needs desirable
Good listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families
Well offer therapists in this role, regular reviews and emotional support from our small, friendly team.
This is an opportunity to use your skills to support people at a difficult time, while developing your experience within a palliative healthcare environment
