Job summary

Wheatfields Hospice is in Headingley, Leeds. We provide expert palliative care. We support people living with a life-limiting conditions and help their loved ones and family.

In palliative care no day is the same. Working at Wheatfields Hospice provides a unique opportunity because we care for patients with such a variety of conditions and symptoms.

Working daily within the administration team, you will be carrying out clerical tasks. You will provide lunchtime and periodic cover for the reception where you will meet and greet all our service users. You will assist all the different departments throughout the hospice which may include ordering uniforms, booking transport / travel, raising POs, banking and various other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.

27.5Hours per week, Monday Friday

£10.24 - £10.82 p/h. £20,022.91 - £21,157.02 pro rata, per annum, depending on experience.

The successful applicant would need to have administration experience, be pro-active, organised & flexible in your approach, with the ability to adapt to various tasks/changing priorities.

As an experienced Administrator, you will provide our support the hospice services team with general clerical/administrative support.

The role will involve working flexibly throughout the hospice, including covering our reception where required.
