About us

St Lukes Hospice provides specialist end-of-life and palliative care to people in Harrow and Brent. Founded by local communities in 1984, we offer free, expert care through our Inpatient Unit (IPU), home care, outpatient clinics, and our 24-hour Palliative Helpline (Pall24). Two-thirds of our care takes place at home, respecting patients' preferences. Our holistic approach includes symptom management, patient and family support, complementary therapies, and bereavement care. We work collaboratively with NHS partners and community services to ensure compassionate, dignified care. Additionally, we provide training to healthcare professionals to enhance end-of-life care skills. Our services are made possible through the generous support of our community, with only 25% funded by the NHS. St Lukes Hospice remains committed to offering accessible, high-quality care to those in need.
