Liverpool & surrounding areasPermanent | 37.5 hours per week | 41 weeks (term time)£41,490 FTE (pro-rated to £37,802)

Join Together Trusts multidisciplinary Therapy Team and help build communication, confidence and independence in pupils with complex needs across mainstream school settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who enjoys autonomy, collaboration and service development all within a supportive, values-driven organisation.

Your impact in this role:

Youll be a key clinical voice within a collaborative team that includes Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Advisory Teachers, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners and Sleep Practitioners.

You will:

Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy across Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels Support children and young people with complex communication needs, including learning disabilities and Autism Provide consultation, advice and training to school staff, families and carers Support complex case management and mentor developing clinicians Contribute to audit, innovation and service development Ensure practice aligns with professional standards and evidence-based approaches

Your work will directly improve access to learning, participation and wellbeing.

Youre a confident, compassionate clinician who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. You bring curiosity, professionalism and a drive to improve outcomes.

Essential: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council Membership of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists Significant post-qualification experience Strong assessment, intervention and outcome measurement skills Experience supporting individuals with complex needs Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable: Educational or specialist setting experience Clinical supervision or service development involvement Specialist training (e.g. AAC, dysphagia, mental health)
