Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an
ACP/ANP to join a new and exciting Acute Respiratory Infection Hub (ARI Hub)
service. The right candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced
practitioner who is able to work within our team to undertake patient
respiratory assessment, diagnosis, and clinical management.
Main duties of the job
Working as an independent
prescriber who will be able to diagnose and treat respiratory patients of 1 year
+. Patients will be referred to the service either by 2 local GP surgeries or
triaged by in house staff from 111 or YAS, presenting with recurrent/acute
exacerbation of respiratory problems.
The candidate will need to be
able to prioritise and triage needs of patients, making any necessary referrals
for investigations or further treatment in the appropriate manner.
The ideal candidate will be
familiar with Systmone and Emis, have an interest in respiratory and have
Primary Care or Urgent Care experience.

- Masters degree level in area of specialism (Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Paramedicine)
- Working at a level where you encompass the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies
- Registered clinical practitioner with their relevant professional body and the HCPC
- Has a detailed knowledge and understanding in practice of applying Caldicott Principles, Data Protection Act 2018 and appropriately protects an individuals personal data, disclosing where appropriate only
