Accountant Fixed Term position working at our head office based out of
Gilberdyke Health Centre.

Main duties of the job
To provide general support to the Finance Manager and
provide a range of financial and management accounting services including petty
cash, payroll/HR, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance
and month end and final accounts preparation using computerised and manual
systems
The post holder is expected to develop skills and knowledge
across all the above functions.
To provide general support to the YHP team, including the
Finance Apprentice.

- Ensure that financial
controls are maintained within Corporate Governance guidelines
- Responsible for the
preparation and input of financial data into the ledger that ensures all
financial reports accurately reflect the current financial position of the
service/department
- Responsible for the
preparation and generation of invoices to external organisations and claims
through external portals
- To analyse and review
Debtor and Creditor positions to ensure adherence to timely invoicing and
receipt of income and timely payment to creditors
- Prepare and input
monthly expenditure and budget journals to ensure reports accurately reflect
the financial position for the period.

- Respond to ad-hoc
