Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate experienced nurse to join our extraordinary Hospice at Home Team who work as specialist nurses in end-of-life care to support patients at home in the last weeks and days of their lives. This exciting opportunity has become available due to career progression of the previous post holder.
We are looking for a nurse who wishes to specialise in palliative and end of life care, or who already has experience in this area. Passion and a love of the nursing role and making a difference to our patients and their familys lives are key aspirations we are looking for in the successful candidate. Experience of working within the community setting would be an advantage.

The Hospice at Home team cover shifts over a 7-day working week. You will also be expected to be able to attend additional training throughout the rotation including mandatory training, local bespoke training and university accredited courses.
We provide good educational & development opportunities, clinical supervision and regular 1:1 support with your line manager to review development needs.
Opportunities to rotate between the inpatient unit and hospice at home services to further develop your knowledge and skills in palliative care and end of life and enhance awareness of the patient and family experience of end-of-life care, can be available as part of career development and progression.
