We provide a low-level podiatry clinic for clients across Worcestershire. You will diagnose, assess and treat problems of the foot for people over the age of 50 in our clinic room and within clients' homes.
You will deal with a range of different conditions includingingrown toenails, corns, calluses, verrucaes, fungal infections, and biomechanical to the complexitiesof the diabetic foot.
We discuss treatments with patients and refer them toappropriate professionalswhen necessary. Weadvise patients onmaintainingfoot health, especially to those vulnerable patients with general medical problems andprovide long term care for people athigh riskof foot injury or disabilityeg: those with diabetes.

Job responsibilities
- Toassess, diagnose and treat problems of the foot for people over the age of 50 in aclinic settingsandwithinclientshomes, specialising in the treatment and management of the foot and ankle.
- Dealing with a wealth of different conditions ranging from ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, verrucaes, fungal infections, biomechanical to the complexitiesof the diabetic foot.
- Todiscuss treatments with patients and refer them toappropriate professionalswhen necessary.
- Toadvise patients onmaintainingfoot health, especially to those vulnerable patients with general medical problems.
- Toprovide long term care for people athigh riskof foot injury or disabilityeg: those with diabetes.
- To undertake home risk assessments of the client home and venue risk assessment of outreach venues on the first visit and raise any concerns with Service Manager reviewing these risks at eachsubsequentvisit.
- Tomaintainaccurateand contemporaneous client records using designated electronic/other organisational databases.
- To undertake banking of any monies taken from clientsin a timely manner.
- To work collaborativelywith the finance team to ensure a smooth transition of payments is met.
- To form an active part of the team,participatingin teammeetings and attending regular 1-1s andappraisals.
- To think and act in a supportive and non-judgmentalway.
- To be prepared to undertake regular training as required bythe Service, including online training modules.
- To carry out anyadditionalrelevant tasks or duties asrequiredon the instruction ofany manger.
