Job summary

Open Mental Health is a Somerset alliance of voluntary sector organisations and Somerset Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job

The overarching purpose of the Team Manager is to coordinate and steer the provision of OMH services within the locality, in collaboration with Somerset Foundation Trust (SFT), partners and the Local Authority (LA).

Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience working in a community-based service (e.g. supported housing service, community mental health team, day centre, supporting seniors, education or hospital discharge services)
  • Proven experience of effective risk management of community based services and working within standard operating procedures
  • Demonstrable knowledge of systems change and ability to embed a systems thinking approach.

Desirable

  • Proven experience of working in partnership with NHS mental health services
  • Background in assertive outreach.
