Job summary
Base: You will work across the following venues: Somerset on site in Yeovil (The Foyer), Wells (Keward House), and Bridgwater (Willow Ward). We have an office space Bridgwater, and the role will include some home and community working. Support is offered 7 days a week on a 4 week rolling rota with one weekend in four. The service currently operates between 9am-6pm but this is subject to review (and may change to cover 10am-8pm) in line with our contract with Somerset Foundation Trust. We are looking for someone to join the team on a 0.4FTE/15hrs per week basis over 2 days, to fit in with our existing rota.
Main duties of the job
As a Rehabilitation & Wellbeing Worker, you will be working as part of a multi-agency team made up of team members from the Voluntary Sector Alliance and Somerset Foundation Trust. Your role will be to work using a whole-team approach to support individuals with long-term enduring mental health challenges to develop a well-rounded and long-lasting recovery within the community. Using a psychologically informed approach you will use a range of recovery and crisis management tools to support individuals to develop self-management skills, make informed decisions, maximise their independence and be part of their local community, accessing housing and other services that they are entitled to which benefit and interest the
