We are in search of recovery focused, passionate, and caring people to join our very friendly team as Senior Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioners.
To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary community-based team, providing an effective, flexible, supportive and responsive service to people who are experiencing the initial stages of psychosis.
Main duties of the job
You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary community-based team, providing a flexible, supportive and responsive service to people who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. You will hold your own individual caseload of clients whilst also support junior colleagues and students.
We pride ourselves on being a a recovery focused, psychologically thoughtful and trauma informed service.
This will be done by carrying out a range of interventions and duties under the direction and supervision of the Service Manager and Team Leaders. As a Senior Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioner within a ‘Team Approach’ model you will be responsible for case management of a complex client caseload adhering to Care Programme Approach and aspire case management procedures.
Also you will act as a representative of ‘aspire’ and an effective link to other organisations and networks in Leeds and elsewhere. If you are an RMN, in conjunction with other RMN’s in the service you will be responsible for administering depot medication to those clients on caseloads who have been prescribed this.
Whilst most of this role in within the usual working hours, there may be times some work is undertaken outside normal office hours including evenings and weekends.
