We are seeking dynamic and forward-thinking
professionals who are interested in making a difference in the lives of people
who have experienced significant trauma.
You would ideally be a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist,
counselling/clinical psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse or
related professional, with significant clinical experience.
The day-to-day role
involves the post holder working as part of a team to provide case management
for designated treatment packages, delivering support to staff and patients,
and (if appropriate to your experience) providing assessments, ongoing
psychotherapy, and clinical supervision.
Post holders will be able
to contribute to the growth of the organisation in key areas including
supporting enquiries, referrals, training, etc, or other special projects.

Main duties of the job
1.
Reporting to the Deputy Clinical Director, or in their absence the
Clinical Director and/or CEO.
2.
To act as a case manager for designated specialist psychotherapy treatment
packages, including setting-up and overseeing treatment provided, and being the
point of contact for any issues arising within the package.
3.
Working closely with other professionals (internally and externally) as
necessary in support of the role.
4.
Writing clear, professional, and effective reports, including treatment
progress reports, risk assessments, and clinical assessments (where
appropriate).
5.
Helping to develop policies and procedures alongside the clinical management
team.
6.
Taking responsibility for the administrative requirements of the
role.
7.
Depending on qualification, conducting clinical assessments of new
patients and/or the delivery of specialist psychotherapy and/or supervision.
8.
Acting as a point of contact for enquiries/referrals.
9.
Any other duties as required to the role.

CDS UK is a charity and an independent provider to
the NHS. The client population seen at
CDS UK are often survivors of extreme and complex developmental trauma. This is challenging, but often deeply
rewarding work. Specialist supervision,
case managerial support and CPD are an essential part of working with this
population.
CDS UK offer a trauma and dissociation informed
psychotherapeutic approach to adults. We
employ clinicians from an array of backgrounds who can offer specialist therapy
and support to our patients.
