Job summary
There is an exciting opportunity to join our evolving and growing organisation in a role as an Integrated Single Point of Access (iSPA) Wellbeing Practitioner. We are excited to be able to offer this permanent position to join our new developing integrated single point of access, working in partnership with Bromley CAMHS.
The first year will be maternity cover with a view to continuing in the iSPA with possible options to also work in one of our other services.
This is an opportunity for a skilled practitioner who has experience of triage, risk screening and working with children & young people presenting with emotional and mental health difficulties. They will be part of a newly formed iSPA team. The successful post-holder will work with young people from diverse backgrounds and should be committed to diversity and ensuring access to services for all.
Much of the work will be carried out from home with the opportunity to see some children and young people at Ethelbert Road or in different community settings. The post holder must be prepared to be flexible in their working arrangements to ensure that all children and young people can access support at a time which suits their needs. Work in our other services may require occasional Saturday working.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an integral part of the Bromley Single Point of Access (iSPA), delivered in partnership with Bromley CAMHS. The integrated SPA will manage all referrals for children and young people with mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties in Bromley. You will work within the team to provide efficient and effective delivery of the iSPA Service.
You will contribute to the development of early intervention and prevention service in Bromley for Children and Young People. The post represents an opportunity for a qualified practitioner, who is committed to the principles of CYP IAPT and THRIVE, to further their career. The post holder will provide support to children and young people and undertake screening, and triage calls to help identify their needs and develop an agreed plan, presenting these to a multi-agency meeting if required. The post-holder will work with young people from diverse backgrounds and should be committed to diversity and ensuring access to services for all. Post-holders who hold a professional qualification will be allocated interventions to maintain their qualification requirements.
