Main duties of the job

The post-holder will:

  • provide high quality data analysis to support the clinic to ensure contractual targets, required outputs and high clinical standards are achieved.
  • also be required to have a sound working knowledge of research methodologies and analysis techniques to support the clinics research agenda.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Role Purpose

To provide high quality data analysis to support the Awakn London Clinic to ensure that contractual targets, required outputs and high clinical standards are achieved.

To provide performance information and analysis through the collation, validation and interpretation of internal and external data.

To produce regular and ad-hoc data reports for research and analysis purposes for both internal and external audiences.

To support and have oversight of the data/clinical case management systems to support effective service delivery Key duties and activities of the role.

Lead on the co-ordinating the design and implementation of reporting requirements, including the collection, collation and auditing of service statistics, database records and stakeholder feedback to improve the quality, safety and performance of the service.

To provide analysis of wider health data as necessary.

Use knowledge of research methodologies and analysis techniques to support Awakns research agenda.

To design, develop and generate regular performance updates and trend and forecasting analysis reports to the Clinics Management Team and the wider Via organisation.

Maintain accurate and timely records using the designated case management system in compliance with legislation and Via Information Governance policies and procedures. With particular focus on confidentiality and consent and the use of personal data for research purposes.

To support in the delivery of training to colleagues on the effective use of data systems and processes.

Work as a specialist data analyst liaising with colleagues to ensure timely generation and use of data, especially pertaining to key performance indicators/prescribing/research activity.

Support clinical procurement processes and subsequent review of associated equipment/spending.

Support the maintenance of clinician/ prescriber/ prescribing/ premises/ pharmacy information, including relating to NHSBSA registration, Xerox authorisation, Home Office licences, Patient Group Directions, Service Level Agreements, Declarations of Interest and professional registrations.

Be involved in and where appropriate take responsibility for relevant audits/research activity/incidents, ongoing monitoring and implementation of associated recommendations/action plans.

Work in line with all relevant legislation, best practice guidance, professional and CQC standards and organisational documents.

Work alongside management and their direct reports to effectively support a one team approach.
