Main duties of the job
Being a Physiotherapist at St Wilfrid's
As a Physiotherapist in our Living Well Services Team you will be working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team.
You'll be supporting patients with a wide range of physical and medical conditions who have been referred to the Specialist Palliative Care Service. Using our 4 treatment rooms, indoor gym facilities and visiting patients in the community, you'll be providing a high quality and efficient physiotherapy service.
Liaising with the Inpatient Unit, Community team and Living Well Services, you'll be promoting an excellent rehabilitative palliative care service. This involves integrating rehabilitation, enablement, self management and self care into the holisitc model of a palliative care.
You'll need to have at least 3 years post registration experience and knowledge of Palliative care is desirable.
Please note that this vacancy is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract. Hours are flexible between 15-37.5 per week.
