Job summary
Purpose of the Job:
The post holder will provide comprehensive, professional and effective administrative support to the Epping & Harlow Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Support team.
He/she will play a vital part in the success of the project as they will have a key role in the coordination of team members and coordination of the relationships with schools in addition to being a first point of call for the service.
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for ensuring all communication is accurately & appropriately undertaken using methods & terminology appropriate to the needs of the service & teams
To be highly skilled & experienced in the full range of organisational & administrative work practices, software programmes, & applicable policies & processes
To be highly proficient in ICT systems used by the service, advising & guiding others in team, supporting new users & instructing them as necessary & have the ability to set up & devise new administrative systems
Contribute to storage & retrieval of data relevant to the team, & support reporting of key performance data in liaison with the MHST Data & Finance Co-ordinator.
To maintain good communication & relationships with schools & the broader CAMHS system
To use knowledge, & experience to meet the needs of the teams by completing non-routine tasks on a daily basis
To update skills as necessary & attend mandatory training
To work unsupervised, prioritising own workload & using initiative
To use agreed guidelines/procedures & developed knowledge/skills/ qualifications when working autonomously & managing own work
To take minutes at meetings
To contribute to compiling newsletters & enhancing visual representation, presentations, flyers & information shared with service users.
To work closely with the other MHST administrators
Where necessary support the practitioners at community events
Confident to answer the door & telephone to service users & members of the public.

Our Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Support Team is working with children and young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues and working with schools and colleges to develop the support they offer the whole school community and strengthen the links between education, health services and families in Harlow and Epping Forest .
