Job summary
The post holder will have at least two years experience of working with people with eating disorders and/ or mental health difficulties and have a good understanding of the pathways and services across Hertfordshire to ensure quality and safe services are delivered on and off site and through our digital services.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes other health service staff such as psychiatrists, occupational therapists, community psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists, wellbeing practitioners and social workers, and staff colleagues from across our organisation.
A clean driving licence with appropriate insurance and own vehicle is required to travel to and from locations agreed with the Service Coordinator. Expenses are reimbursed at 45 pence a mile. Public transport will not support this role.

About us
First Steps ED supports people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds experiencing problems with eating difficulties and eating disorders. The role will require the ability to deliver our face-to-face services to provide individuals with the support through our Early Help Eating Disorder programme to facilitate progression and change in their home, education, and community environments. It involves working with a range of professionals to ensure provision of high quality and safe services to Hertfordshire children and young people in accordance with the NHS Service Specification.
