Job summary
This post currently attracts an additional market rate supplement, meaning there is an enhancement of £7,000 per annum on top of the normal rate of pay. This market supplement is under review and if this review was to be taken away you will be given notice.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their management skills within a leading social care Organisation. You will be managing our Benedicts service which is a service supporting clients with learning disabilities and health needs that may also present as challenging.
You will be required to demonstrate current knowledge and practice within the field of Learning Disabilities. You will be responsible for the effective management of a Learning Disability Nursing Home that supports clients with varying levels of learning and physical disabilities, along with some complex health needs, which require nursing intervention.
The ideal candidate should also be highly motivated and feel passionately about providing high quality nursing care with excellent health outcomes for clients.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing support and supervision to the staff team and ensuring there is a provision of high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities.
This is a rewarding job in a busy nursing home environment. You will need to be organised and will have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to liaise effectively with a range of professionals from MDT
- Good organisation and planning skills
- Well-developed IT skills
- Effective time management skills
