Job summary

James Hopkins Trust are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Manager to make a significant impact on the lives of children we support with medically complex and fragile conditions. As Clinical Manager you will be a member of the Trust Senior Management Team, working under the Trust Director, and alongside the Charity Manager and Registered Manager. You will be responsible for leading the Nursing Team ensuring respite for families continues to thrive and expand its reach, making a profound difference to the children and families we serve.

Main duties of the job

As Clinical Manager you will:

- Lead on the operational management of the respite provision in accordance with regulatory CQC standards and the James Hopkins Trusts Vision, Mission and Values.

- Manage the Nursing Team ensuring positive relationships are developed and maintained with each other and the wider Charity team

- Ensure compliance and develop all relevant clinical, governance and regulatory systems and policies

- Work closely with our local health and care service providers including with NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board who directly commission our services

- Provide an environment of continuous quality improvement

- Attend relevant training and cascade as appropriate

About us

We are proud to have been able to provide free nursing respite care to hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened young children and their families over the past 35 years.

Based in Barnwood, Gloucester, we are the only registered charity in Gloucestershire to provide this level of care, day and night, either in the family home or at Kites Corner, our multi-sensory respite centre and gardens.

- Proactive and solution orientated approach to changing situations in a clinical environment

- Engaging communication skills and a friendly demeanour to successfully connect with a diverse team and patients

- Self-motivated and can work either independently or as a team player

- A caring, empathetic and resilient person with excellent interpersonal skills

- UK Driving licence
