Primary Care 24 (PC24) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader to join our clinical team as a Head of Nursing / AHP Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) and Community Services.

Job responsibilities

What will you be doing

  • You will act as a core member of the senor leadership team and be responsible for all aspects of clinical/professional practice ensuring nurses/AHPs provide evidence-based, safe, quality care.
  • Provide professional leadership to the registered and non-registered workforce across defined services concentrating on PC24's IUC Services and Community Services (although the post holder is expected to support all areas within PC24 if required).
  • Ensure services are delivered to a high standard in line with regulatory and internal accreditation requirements.
  • Collaboratively working with the senior leadership team to lead on areas of transformation and introduce new clinical pathways and transformational changes.

What do I need

  • You will need to be a Registered Nurse / Advanced Clinical Pharmacist / Advanced Paramedic Practitioner or Advanced Physiotherapist with the associated valid PIN.
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or able to evidence that you are able to work at this level.
  • Be a non-medical independent prescriber - V300
  • Clinical Leadership Skills including significant experience as a Senior Leader.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal and evidence of being able to communicate difficult messages to patients and their families.
  • The ability to negotiate, prioritise, organise and handle conflict.
  • A team-focussed, flexible approach with a high level of personal and professional credibility.
