Main duties of the job
As our Temporary Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, placement, and management of temporary staff within PC24. This role ensures that temporary staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high level of service quality and compliance in line with relevant policy and procedures. At PC24 our temporary workers include PC24 bank staff, direct suppliers and locum agencies.

- Liaise with Heads
of Service/Operational Managers to understand temporary staffing requirements
for each service

Fill all shifts
with temporary workers, in accordance with the requirements of the request,
sourcing cover using the Temporary Worker register

Process bookings,
received by email, telephone or via web bookings on Rotamaster in an accurate
and timely manner in relation to the nature of the request
- Liaise with Heads
of Service and Operational Managers to identify cover required and to keep them
informed of the progress made
- Regularly review and analyse workforce data to
monitor staffing performance, cost-effectiveness, and temporary staff
utilisation
- Proactively
identify solutions and suggest alternatives to Heads of Service/Operational
Managers when temporary cover is not available for the shift requested
About
you:
- Experience
of temporary staffing processes and procedures
- Experience of working across departmental and organisational boundaries
to deliver specific targets and to improve services
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience working in a similar
role
- Good understanding of resource planning methods
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate into a service delivery
context
- Able to build relationships, both internally
and externally to the organisation, using influencing and negotiating skills,
with tact and diplomacy
